This design was a collaborative piece for a special music issue of Vox Magazine. The main challenge was to organize all the information in a coherent way including band profiles, venue information and a timeline.

For this cover I commissioned and directed an illustrator to create a conceptual cover for Vox magazine’s fall preview issue.

The challenge for this cover was to create something that would tactfully touch on the anniversary of 9/11 while at the same time, address how Hollywood deals with the matter in the film, World Trade Center.

This story is about a Cistercian monastery in rural Missouri. The challenge was to pair the text and the photography in a way that did justice to both.

This was a fun piece that profiles a local comic shop owner. The story parallels the owner’s plight against big business and the many challenges of being a small business owner with that of a comic book character.

This was a simple and fun approach to a story that investigated the five senses in Columbia, Mo.
